Johns Matriculation School initially started as a nursery school in the year 1987, year by year grew with the relentless support of the neighbourhood, Parents and Staff and  upgraded as Matriculation school to handle classes up to Tenth standard. 

The school continued its role with a social responsibility to promote quality education with its constant approach to source the apt standards of education according to the changing world around thereby enabling students to equip themselves to the evolving standards of education.

Various clubs are formed for students to showcase their talents in Science, Art & Handicrafts

The school is now following the Samacheer standards of education as per regulations of Government of Tamil nadu.

This school is managed by Johns Educational Trust, with the sole purpose of imparting education to the needy and for the uplift of the poor. The school uses a private land as play-ground and extra-curricular activities for the students.

This school is managed by Johns Educational Trust, with the sole purpose of imparting education to the needy and for the uplift of the poor. The school uses a private land as play-ground and extra-curricular activities for the students.

The school is keen in following the trends and criteria of the Government in fulfilling the necessary requirements with regards to standards of education, rules and regulations and Right to education for the poor and needy.

The students are engaged in learning Yoga as an exercise for their body and mind, helping them develop their mind in handling stress and enhancing their concentration power, Martial arts as a self-defence art, Classical Dance and Computer classes to get them technology driven.

They also participate in various competitions like Drawing, Art and handicraft, Science projects thereby learning values of time management, creativity, co-ordinated efforts and team-work.

Under the able guidance of the Management, Principal and heartful efforts of the teaching staff, the school is achieving centum results in SSLC examinations from the first batch in the year 2002 and marching forward.
